Mia Elise II
- 60.34m | Trinity | 2012 (2020)
Measuring an impressive 60m (198ft), this 2012 Trinity built yacht underwent a multi-million dollar refit in 2017, carried out in a chic and contemporary fashion by Yacht Next, who worked closely with the experienced owner to create highly stylised yet practical and comfortable interiors on all decks, linked by elevator.
The main salon exudes a high tech, boutique hotel ambience, with dark wood panelled ceiling and cabinetry juxtaposed against glistening white floors and sleek modern white furniture. A large circular bar in the salon foyer is a focal point while formal dining takes centre stage in a light yet intimate zone which perfectly complements the salon.
A generous and well-appointed sun deck features a jacuzzi, lounge area and eye-catching white stone bar, with al fresco dining available for lazy lunches or stargazing beneath an optional awning. Wellness enthusiasts will love the well-equipped air-conditioned gym comprising Peloton bike, treadmill, step machine, yoga mats, boxing gloves, weight bench and Nordic Track elliptical machine as well as the sauna and steam room.
The skylounge aft deck dining is yet another option for outdoor entertaining and the skylounge also features a 102 inch home projection screen perfect for movie nights.
Aft on the open plan main deck is where guests can retreat to a relaxing, stylishly furnished terrace with a teak sofa and armchairs. Indeed, spacious lounging areas for conversation and cocktails can be found on all three aft decks while the catering options on board cover gourmet fine dining through to casual alfresco barbecues and everything in between.
Sleeping 12 guests across seven staterooms - five doubles, one twin and one convertible suite - the byword here is elegance with all quarters overly generous in style, space and fitting quality, each with their own individual character.
The owner’s stateroom boasts wraparound 180-degree floor to ceiling windows which flood the cabin with natural light and also offer spectacular views which can be enjoyed from the salon area or bed. An unusual panelled ceiling with recessed lighting adds to the unique feel of these luxuriously appointed quarters, which also boast a drop down TV and discreet private terrace, perfect for sun lounging à deux with a glass in hand. Walk-in cedar closets and his and hers natural stone-floored ensuites with jacuzzi, steam showers and a TV complete the master suite.
Classical styling continues in the VIP queen stateroom, which enjoys rich dark wood panelling and teak flooring, as do the remaining five suites.
A beach club offers a fresh water shower and powder room and the water sports centre is as well-equipped as you might imagine. A 40ft Yellowfin towed tender and 25ft waterslide complement a huge arrange of toys including three Seadoos, a flyboard, two SeaBobs, a Lyft e-foil, Manta hydrofoil bike, SUPs, water skis, wake and knee boards, snorkelling and fishing gear as well as a variety of fun towable inflatables and an eight-person inflatable island and Jungle Jim.
Mia Elise II, whose regular cruising grounds take in the Med each summer and the Caribbean and the Bahamas each winter, benefits from the attention of 15 highly dedicated crew and a maximum speed of 18 knots.
It’s not difficult to see why she has become a firm favourite in the hearts of previous charterers. One said: “The captain, service and crew were just so good”, while another experienced client who regularly charters mega superyachts described Mia Elise II’s crew as the best they have ever worked with.
